rambling rambling rambling...

more ramblings...

thing is, i always have something on my mind to blog about, while im at work, in situations i think are funny, and why i get home and i have time to get these thoughts down, i seem to have forgotten what to say...

well, this is just rambling i suppose!

something that happened at work last week.

well, obviously we didnt go away to the country again... which is good and bad, im not too sure which one... i guess, to me, its no biggie, good if anything, im at home!

but yeah, bad for the farmers, and also for people who have kinda planned holidays, you know, because seeding is kinda delayed, it stuffs up the timing and so on.

kinda the same with me, im planning on going to melbers in august or something, but because of this whole la-di-da, no rain, i cant judge when and i know that we'll probably be finished by then (as in we'll be away HOPEFULLY in july and finish in july) i want to book a flight over to see my family... but yeah, i cant because i just want seeding to finish so i can be sure!

and you know what also sucks? well, timing, because when u book tickets early, they are on special and they're cheaper!!!

well, coz im waiting, argh, no choice :p

so yeah, see what happens...

so anyway, works kinda slow, there are things to do, i just finish them sooner, and so then i get brain numbed!!!

so i was doing some other seed prep that hadnt been done, this was for pathology, so technically, its not our prep, its theirs, but its "our" material, so yes, it is our stuff....ANYWAY...

my "office" thing, building, well, its like a building with two rooms and a shed thing and a lab. anyway, i was working in the lab, coz theres good bench space, and anyway, i had to go and look for this seed i had run out, and what happened was, i walked out, and i saw some pigeons outside, kinda giving them evils, because i was like...hmmm... u better not go into the lab!!! so off i went, maybe for 5 or 10mins to find this seed i needed.... got back, and there was a PIGEON in the lab!!!!

smart buggars really.

its more the worry, they'd go onto the tables/benches and screw up ur work! but luckily, it was on the floor, eating up the spilt seed... so went to the other room where Joe was, and i was like, do we have a net?

we didnt, so i was like...hmmm... i'll try and walk it out, like a shepard kinda thing. except it kinda didnt work, coz... ok, imagine the room/lab. its like a rectangle, and the door is in the middle side, and in the middle of the room is the bench, like an "island". when i walked the pigeon towards the door, it would miss it and go to the other side of the lab, so i couldnt block it on my own, so Joe came and helped, haahaa, got the little buggar out!

and u know what happened? IT WALKED INTO JOE'S OFFICE!!! haahaaa!!!

funny stuff.....

so we were like, yeah shut the door! so JUST when i was getting settled back, IT WALKED IN AGAIN!!!! HAAHAAA.... only realised it when Joe said "It's back in!" from the outside! but i managed to get it out again on my own, oh man, funny though... so i shut the door then!

yeah, random shizer that makes the day manageable...

OH, i havent really announced this yet...

but.... I GOT A JOB INTERVIEW!!

hoooo-raaaa, hooo-raaa!!!!

IM EXCITED! but i dont want to have TOO many hopes on it, mainly so that i dont disappointment myself of course! coz thats just bad to hope so much and be bitterly disappointment!

well, i guess i wont be, and even if i hope really hard, i'd probably bounce back from it!!! hahahaa, but still, i wont be exstatic until i get confirmation AFTER the interview, which i think would be in a few weeeks :p

its for a ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER position at the Department of Environment and Conservation! woot woot!!!

fingers crossed hay, ACTUALLY related to what i studied!

and more pay, so thats why im kinda hopeful!

but yeah, see how!

its weird, coz i was thinking, i was so depressed before i was going seeding, i was thinking, crap, no one will be able to contact me if im away, like if im applying for all these jobs and im away, then its just SHIT!!!!

but yeah, just so happens that im here because of seeding, and the weather, and my interview is tomoro, so is this a sign???

i dont tend to believe in fate, but then if its meant to be its meant to be! i guess thats kinda fate, but i suppose i dont like the use that word :p

but yeah, is it a co-inky-dink? i dunno...

i guess im super fortunate!

i'd be over the moon, seriously....

but see what happens....

its IN THE CITY, which i like alot, but then, for tomoro, i will park in the city, and lucky for me, its at 10am, so i HOPEFULLY wont be stuck in the shizer traffic.... but then downside, blardy parking cost a bomb! blah...

and yeah, i will go to work after the interview, i was going to take the day off, but naah, better not.....

i really hope it all goes well, i know the formatt, its just like when i went for the job im in now, so yeah, i know what to expect, but i know i'll be nervous! argh...

oh well, see how see how!

Other news of what i've been up to.

Bub and i went to Chanterelle's @ Jessica's at the Hyatt for din din satnight.

We took pics, but i didnt put them on my comp yet >_<

will when i get the digi off bub.

But yeah, no spesh occassion, just dinner, coz we hadnt been since Black Swan.

There were pretty much all asian girls as waiteresses, except for the managers/owners, who were caucasian... i think they were jap and others... but yeah, i dunno they didnt really have that great english, but they did have good service.

Downside, they took they're sweet time before they took our order! i had to ask twice! i dunno, dont really like waiting, but oh well!

I had seafood and bubs had chicken, will have to write more when i have pics! then u guys can drool!

anyway, we went to utopia after dinner, because bubs had a friend's bday there, and just so happen that the gang was there too! saw WJ, havent seen her in a while!!!!
anyway, at bubs friends thing, omg, there were some people really enthusiastic with the kok!!! hehehe, well, good to know they're enjoying themselves!!! and singing alot of OLD songs!!!!!!! O_o hehehe but still, good good...

anyway, im going to beddie byes now....

must ramble more another time :p
