HELLLOOOOO

this is so becoming a food blog :p hehehee mouthwatering pictures of delish food *DROOOL*

ANYWAY

last night went out to din din with bub's fam (soz chia couldnt cya!) anyway, we went to a place called Jan's Cafe which is in Spencer Village, well, not IN the foody bit, its like a shop just outside next to the fish shop.

anyhooooo, they specialise in steamboat, except we didnt have steamboat!!!!

we had like a banquet kinda thing, coz bub's mum is friends with the lady Jan, who owns the shop, anyway, it was seafood galore!

wooooohoooo, i was full even though we had like 4 other dishes left!

anyway, FIRST course, was SHARK'S FIN SOUP!!!!

this was the ONLY thing i DIDNT take a pic of >__<

well, it was really really nice!!!!! :) as u do when u have sharks fin, not that i ever do hay.....

rare rare occasions..... next to that i never really eat ching food that often! as in at the restaurant....

anyway, moving on to the next round!!! :)



Chicken with Kailan! and on it, it had a liddle rabbit made out of egg! hehehe

next course.....



omg, prawns with noodles!!! these were MASSIVE prawns!!! like the ones with like a horn thing and long thin arms with little pinces.... hehehe, i thought they were yabbies!!!! noodles were sooooo long and yummy with the sauce, but too much coz one bowl, wow..... sickening! but good good, it was REALLY prawny flavour!

next!!!



steamed fishy! omg, i havent had fish like this is ages!!! it was soooo fresh!!!! delish!!!! two thumbs up :) it went quick!

singapore chilli crab!!!!! well, it wasnt chilli-ish and it was a snow crab!!!! bit no to my liking... coz it was sweet flavour, and the red was pretty red, bubs was saying it reminded him of butter chicken!!!!! weird huh??

of course, a crab dish with sauce is never complete without :



only downside, it was PANDAN FLAVOUR MANTOU!!! hahahaa, i prefer eating them plain than with sauce! The meat of the crab was a bit shrivelled... as in not as big big as the shell looks..... but yeah, by this time, omg, EVERYONE was freakin' full as!

but we still had:



SWEET and sour pork!!!! i was expecting something more "standard" also coz i felt like it, even though i was FULL as, i think i only tried one... but it was nice, no batter, it was more like, pork ribs, nice, i think would've been better enjoyed when no so full!

it too had a bunny wabbit!



lastly...... mixed veggies!



omg, so full! they had fake meat on it too, not what i liked :p

OH i didnt mention, we went out for dinner to celebrate bub's bday!!! well, early celebration!!!!!! and it wouldnt be complete with a cake!!



its a durian cake!!!! bub's cousin got it! REALLY duriany.... hehehe but nice nice!!! :)
