the long awaited pics from chanterelle's!!

if u are feeling peckish.... im sure will make ur mouth water!!! well, kinda!

when we finished ordering, before they gave us anything, we got this, thing.... not really pate, but thats what it reminded me of!!! but it was some kinda.... starter thing.... the biscuit base looked homemade, well, not a bought cracker thats for sure!



and well, it tasted ok, nothing too offending to the taste buds!!!

hehehe, anyway, each place on every table, everyone had some funky big plate that had some design on it, this was mine, except my photo skills are crap and looks slightly BLUR!



it was just a big big plate for decoration, the place was nicely decorated, so just had its nice touches to it.

for entree, we ordered:



half a dozen oyster mornays! :) hehehe, we usually get natural or kilpatrick, so we tried something different this time, and it was really nice! and im glad we shared, because it would've been a bit too sickening with the cheese, but eating it was really nice!

and also



a tasting plate. not too bad, coz u get variety, but then u tend to like half and the rest is passable! hehehe...

for the mains!



i chose the morton bay bug!!! omg, sooooo filling, definitely got my money's worth out of this!!!!! it was like garlic bread crumbs over it, but tooooo much for me, but i just scraped it off!!! delish!!! it was like some weird curried egg thing, i dunno what it was on the side with deep fried carrot!!! i couldnt eat it!!!! :p

is it the chicken wrapped in proscuitto in the crustacean sauce!!! hehehe, and the yellow bits are mash! yum yum, i luv my mush... hehehe, well, i like to take some from bubbub coz he dont mind!!! hehehe.... omg, the sauce was REALLLY crabbbby like.... coz i was already eating the morton bay bug, which is just like crayfish, i think it was bit too much for me when i tried the chicken!

bubs went to sydney, pretty much for like a day and night, and GUESS WHAT HE BROUGHT BACK!?!?!?!?

the one thing that perthians know that we dont have in perth that is a treat to EAT!

okay, seriously, its no biggie, but its still cool!!! i mean no biggie, coz it doesnt taste THAT fantastic as people make it out to be, but yeah, i mean it pretty cool to just have something different i suppose....

bubs opened his small luggage bag, like the rectangular ones with wheels, u see air hostesses dragging, AND WAH-LAH, omg, haahaa, the box fit PERFECTLY inside!!! heeheee, hid well bubs!
