WINTER SLEEPOUT!

Thats what my saturday night was dedicated to...

this is prob going to be one of the very few (probably the only one this year) charity events this year :p

well, ANYWAY, thanks to cindy :) heehee, got some pics from her :D

we didnt have as many people joining us (mainly, i reckon it was because last year we had the camp and therefore we had more ppl to offer it too) but yeah, it wasnt too bad this year, not as squishy! heehee

well, it rained this year too, not exactly good, our little shelter was kinda leaky too.... but luckily it didnt last too long.

it was pretty windy...

anyway, took a while to set up... but it was all good! :)



yes... crazy me in the yellow poncho... we're all laying out the inners of our lovely shelter.... YAY, cardboard base! i tell u, my body wasnt exactly the best, but apparently sleeping on the floor (or any hard flooring) is good for your posture... i dun really like the idea at all...

I made a pasta bake, good ol' spinach and ricotta from dolmio! heehee

after dinner we went to the main shrine for chanting, meditation, light offering and a reflection on why we were there...



then later...

some of the gang were in the temple helping out aunty grace, but then some of us were in our beloved shelter...getting comfy AND telling GHOST STORIES!!!

yes.... ghost stories.... yen was scared abt them and tried to sleep it off, i doubt it, i bet she could hear us but ignored it!

all i can say is that... malaysia is ONE haunted place! WHICH i would avoid going to!! haahaa... naah, should be ok, but then, yeah, i dont really believe in that stuff, but then, those stories were pretty scary!

next morning, i could hear the pigeons on top of the temple... making their funny noises.... ARGH i neeed sleeep! most of everyone got up at like 6:30 for chanting... noooo thanks, chanting not for me.... so only a handful of us slept in a bit till abt 7:45....

i still couldnt believe i was awake at that hour on a SUNDAY morning... argh... sleeeep!

after brekky, clean up time! but a photo of the shelter and the COOL banner that the UBC members had at UWA, to raise the funds! aww.... ser ley couldnt make it which was a disappointment, but i hope she's better, coz i was told she was sick ;p

oh gosh....
do NOT trust car salesmen hay... i didnt believe it when i heard abt it, but now, i totally agree... they are lying sacks of BLEEEEEEP.... lol

well, recently, dad got a new car, and we're still waiting for it to be sorted out or whatever.... and well, im trading in the good ol' bubble... and yeah i didnt really mention it too much, coz its not MY car, its my DAD'S so no biggie, just that im driving it... anyway, its a mazda 6, in a pearl white colour, auto.

and well, we went in today, and i reckon the dude lied to dad, he was like oh u gotta make an appointment ra ra ra.. and its like he rang on fri and sat, and if they knew he was coming today, THEY should've known to make an appointment with my dad.

tsk tsk...

service is SHOD-DEEE.... and i reckon, they may be racist too... dont get me wrong here, people are like that... dodgey AS!

anyway, not going to go on TOO much abt it...

but yeah... they are sooo full of it...

*sigh*

i ended up getting this text book for my plant unit.... only coz i figured, well, my teacher... he's really crap and i dont think i can really learn much from him and the book is less than 100 bucks.... argh

and its my motivation that coz im buying it from my own pocket... i GOTTA use it... ;p

BLAH lets hope so...

did some study today.... re-learnt abt mycorrhiza... there is ecto and endo.... mycorrhiza is the association of a fungi with the roots of plants, it helps with the absorption of nutrients that plant cant take in by itself...

raa raa raa... lol

yeah me T-R-Y-I-N-G to sound like i know what im talking abt! LOL

random thought... i havent been clubbing in AGES!!

double yay is that they have made clubs and pubs smoke free!!! so im so up for it, when i have the time... :S

hmm... just miss the buzz of dancing around mad to really good rnb songs.... heehee

mmm......
