strange annoying october weather!

i always feel a little sick when weather just goes all muddly...

im at work, then im feeling a bit dizzy-ish, then thats like connected to my stomach, which i have the wobblies when i feel like my morning tea is about to rear its head! then, the senses run haywire, such as, i was helping with innoculations today, and they spray the rust disease onto the plants, but first they mix it up with this mineral oil, so it "sticks" to the plant, anyhoo, talking abt senses, i smell this mineral oil more and more (NOT that im purposely sniffing it ok, its more like, i'm avoiding it of course, but since im not feeling 100% its starting to bother me).... anyway..... pretty much to sum it up, i felt like shit, and i wanted to go home! but i solidered on....... and after i had my peanut butter sandwich for lunch, i was feeling better.....

dont really know why....

i think same time this year it happened too..... argh, dunno if its reflux, lack of carbs, or sugars.... no idea..... strange annoying hayfever weather, along with strange bodily functions going cuckoo....

aiiiyaaah, only 4 more days to go and i wont be "stuck" doing the stuff im doing!!!! ok, well, i admit its NOT THAT bad, govt work is so cruisey! but its not decent if you have a degree from uni, because they pay peanuts! but since this other girl had left, and pathology have kinda been making me the stand in assistant, its a pissy job, as in i'm literally YAWNING every 5mins, thinking to myself, thank GAWD im leaving, soooon, oh so soon.....

BUT DOWNside, well, i mean the good thing, that i'm missing out on when i leave is the crossing! it is wheat breeding, and to breed, it is manual labour of emasculating and then pollinating! wheat is a grass, it is a self pollinator! soooo, to do this, we have to take out the pollin bits (male bits) before its mature enough to pollinate itself (aka emasculation). it is tidious glasshouse work, and for people who dont have the best eyesight for things up close, but i have fine eyesight, and i dont have to wear these goofy looking glasses thing they have! and well, yeah, i mean crossing is fun because u can see the result after few weeks!!! its a satisfying task, and well, the stuff that you do cross in the glasshouse is the stuff that ends up in the field, and down the track, its part of perhaps a new variety they may release! HOraaa!

BUT YEAH.... oh well, if im leaving im leaving, theres no turning back! and i have to get use to that.... i cant believe its my last week! its good, i cant think of it as bad, or at least it isnt, because i am moving to greener pastures.

OH, another thing im kinda DOH-ing about is the BABY BIRDIES!!!!! omg.... hehehee, at our office, an oldish building, outside the door, at the top top bit, there is a nest, and old nest, but is used every year im told, by these swift birds, im sure you know what im talking about, relatively small birds, black/blue back and they have this cute red chest. anyway, during the winter they had done they're biz, and this spring, sprouted lil' ones! three of them! u really cant miss them, especially when you're in the office and they're chirping their heads off! heheehe, its cute and funny, like they have their heads bobbed out and when the parents come their bright yellow mouths are really obvious! then when you walk out, they become silent and duck down so you cant really see them!

ANYWAY, coming times! before leaving, i noticed they had come out of the nest!!! CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!! the three babies, and theres like a ledge thing that runs across that kinda looks like a mini reverse gutter! anyway, when i was around, they'd still duck as low as they can, trying not to be noticed!! awww.... i think they were learning to fly!!! ARRGGHHHHH.... i hope they're still there tomoro!

i've never really been that close to a nest and new birdies in the "wild" before... although its not really the "wild" esp. when its like located under a building... but you know what i mean, non-domestiscated animal!!!

and yah, thats my rant for the day :)
