Happy Birthday to me for last week!!!

Besides being treated on Friday by the girls, I got the special treatment on Saturday by bubs!

The arrangement on the friday night was very last minute, well, at least, it was organised a week before, which for me is last minute, but i was very lucky that majority of the chickies could make it! Anyway, I had arranged it because bub was away on his work retreat, and I really didn't want to spend a Friday night by myself... so it was a good excuse to get some people together for dinner!

So anyway, bub was expected to get back on Saturday sometime, although I kinda knew it was going to be in the arvo... but bub had booked for dinner with me that night! He kept it a secret where we were going, i kept bugging him really badly, but he was good and didnt crack!

I did have an idea where, but i didnt want to tell him, mainly because i didnt want to be wrong! >_<

but in the end i was right!!!

We went to Zafferanos! Which is where the old swan brewery is in Crawley!

I've never been there before, only pass in the car, or on a bike ride! And it was cool coz I havent been to the carpark there either before, so just being somewhere new was kinda cool!

Its a really flash restaurant! Can't believe we went there! soooooo niiice! The service was tops, except maybe at the end with the dessert trolley, but then again, the dessert trolley guy was pretty busy!

So bub ordered a orange, mango and apple juice, and i got a cocktail! can't remember what it was called but it had puree strawberries and french champagne!!!! Hehehe, tasted ok, not too bad, but yah, niiiice!

We ordered entree and dessert! Bub got calimari with a lime mayo, and some mini fries scattered in between, and I got a scallop and field mushroom dish with relish with it! the scallops were REALLY REALLY niiice!!!!! Just a nice amount too, else if u had that as a main, with more scallops, i reckon it would be pretty sickening!



for the main, i got the lobster mornay style, on fried rice and aspargus! Bub got the steak! The fried rice was a bit tasteless, but with the lobby, it was niiicce..... the steak was pretty succulent too, and it had like potato cake things.

on the side were their famous chips! (according to babe they were famous)



it was literally 6 pieces, and they were like MASSIVE! like MASSIVE MASSIVE! and tasty too!!!! we worked out abt $2something per piece! like holy moly huh? but i cant believe that we finished it all!!!!!

at the end, as you can see at the top opening of this entry, bub surprised me!!!!

like the dessert trolley guy came and i picked the dessert! we shared coz we were sooo full! and it just so happened when i wasn't looking, when the guy came with our dessert, i saw him coming with the candle on top!!! *OMG* soooooo embarassed! can't believe he did that! he's such a cheeky sweeetie!!!!!!

Yeah, it was a pretty memorable kinda experience! luv ya bubs!



anyway... on the side, been thinking about joining facebook...well, not really.... still majorly refuse to, but then coz of the fact that peeps are posting photos and stuff! DANG....

i just dont want random high school peeps adding me, and just looking thru my stuff.... i know, it sounds lame.... but still.... argh!

gimme some time to forget abt it!
