SO HERE IT IS!!!

the long assssssssss entry!

or at least it will be long to last because i have pics pics pics!
of course in chronological order, so, in a way, its not really in order, because i didnt post them when i wanted them... :s as in the older ones at the bottom and the newer ones at the top! BUT since i'm doing a hunka chunka at one go, just means that i will have the older pics and events at the top and the newer ones at the bottom!

so here we go!

saturday 15th september, the weekend before esther and nam's wedding which from today was two saturdays ago!

food and event review!

we went to Seizan, Japanese restaurant in the city! its downstairs which i totally did NOT expect! coz i've never been there before of course! but yeah, nice nice, and the seating, its like below the floor kinda thing, hard to explain, like u step down to your seat from the floor.... anyway, it was funky! had fish tank with fishies! and it was clean and nice different kind of atmosphere!







for entree we had...

salmon sashimi!!!



we both LUUURRRVvvve it!!! delish delish! although the best is when you buy it fresh yourself from the seafood places! and its cheaper too! but then when you go out to eat its different!! mmm.... salmon melting in my mouth.... *drooool*

now im getting hungry!

we also got...

Octopus with some kinda MiSO dressing!



different, had pickled things in it, not just ginger, i think like pickles! lol

and lastly we also had....

CHA-WA-MU-SHI!



a nice smooth egg pudding dish. not as nice as the place i had in singapore with my sis, because this one had tooooo waaaay toooo many bubbles in it! as in air bubbles... but yes yes, it was nice, its not too many places in perth for jap food that they have chawamushi!

bubs had a beer too... KIRIN!



its not as strong as some beers i've had.... like it doesnt leave a strong taste in your mouth, which is a good thing! or at least for girls who dont really have a taste for beer!

ONTO THE MAINS!

bubs got... the seizan bento!



which i thought was nice and worth to get! because you get a bit of everything! and its filling! although i didnt order it, i was picking at it! :p

hehehe...

i got... TEMPURA UDON!



it wasnt AS impressive as perhaps.... Matsuri's one, but then, it was cheap, about $12, so yeah it was ok, but i would've wanted MORE tempura!!! :p

it was a REALLY nice diinnnner! i liked it!!!

well, we had an early one, because we had a show to catch :p

hehehee, we went to see.... CIRque Du Solei! (im sure i mentioned this before!)

anyway, the Show was Varekai!

yeah, OMG, sooooooo goood!

before we went in, as in the BIG top, we entered to the bit with all the popcorn candy and drinks and SOUVENIORS!!! nice nice!!!! masks, tshirts, umbrellas, pens, magnets, little knick knacks! I SWEAR we saw it wrong, but we saw this FUNKY rainbow colour umbrella which was like $108AU!!!! WTF? no way.... i duno, it was printed on there, but i think it was a mistake, there was another umbrella different colours and it was abt 40-50 i think..... hmmm....

anyway we did get a program!!!! i wanted to get SOMEthing... just a memory i suppose.... i think it was like $15 or $20, cant remember! but yeah, its because its glossy.... not really much to read but pics of the artists, which AFTER the show had a significance!!! it was COOOl!



when we walked into the tent... OoOooOoO just interesting interesting atmosphere... found our seats.... and i KNEw we werent allowed to take pics (bubs told me) he was like just do it, they cant make u delete it! so i was like......looking around, take off flash, UP SNAP! *AAARRGGHH* lady comes puts her hand up, PLEASE! STRICTLY NOOOO PHOTOGRAPHY!!!! sorry miss -___-"

but THIS is what i got! very blurry!



at the intermission, i saw opposite-ish to the right from where we were, some chick was taking pics!!!! BITCH! jk, haahaa, i could see the flash!

unfair!

anyway, the food was overpriced too although we didnt get any! (yay!) it was like i think $6 or $7 for icecream, $5 for water! i dunno it was just money making!!!

i wanted fairy floss, but then bubs convinced me to wait till royal show :p hehehe

i think i said this before but it seriously was blardy awesome!!! bodies flying, twisting, turning, tumbling, jumping, bumping, all kinds!



next day, sunday 16th september, dear friend Esther's hen's high tea party!



it was at globe at the parmelia hilton in the city!

unfortunately i didnt think the food was worth the price tag! overpriced, it was $33 a pop per person, but we split it up and shared else it would've been WAY too much food! but yeah, might as well have gone for a nice lunch than high tea there!

anyhoooo, the bride to be!

THE WEDDDING!!!!

yay!

we arrived at the sunken gardens at UWA!

here's what i wore and what bubs wore too!



PLUS i LOVE this dress!!!!
MINUS I HATE MY FRINGE!!!!!
PLUS friends all around and its Esther and Nam's WEDDING!!!
MINUS mozzies!!!
PLUS i had a HOTTIE next to me! :)

yeah.... *on the side* i officially DONT like my fringe!!! IT'S crap!!! its not even a REAL fringe, its just like a short bit that sits on the side!!! :p

back to the wedding!



it was a really nice ceremony!!! and yeah, the only down side was the mozzies, argh, alot of people getting to be part of the buffet for the mozzies! i know i DEFINITELY was.... i had one ON MY FOREHEAD!!! above my eyebrow!!! argh, and HEAPS on my legs and arm.... argh *sigh*

then in the evening, the reception was being held at Jade Dynasty in Northbridge! Typical asian place to be to have your wedding!! hehehe....

nah nah, it was good!

i've never been for a wedding, so it was my first there!!
SO nice, the decorations!!! omg, must have been abt 300 peeps there!!! woot woot!!! family i suppose.... woooow weee



omg, the FOOD! it was FREAKIN' yum and WAY too much!!! delish though, i really liked it!!
