GEELONG TRIP (sorry i've been late to report on my trip! time is just never enough! :p

only a day trip...



for lunch that day, we tried Smorgy's



it was at the end of the pier, it was only $15 for all u can eat! but it was SOOOOOOO CRAP! dont go there, but its cheap and they were busy and there was kids entertainment, but yeah, food was pretty crap, but they had alot to choose from, no seafood :p hot food and salads and dessert, but yeah NO! it was still pretty crap!

on the way in, saw this skill tester and HAD to take a pic!



ITS SANTA'S LITTLE HELPER!!!! how cool is that? i've never seen a simpsons skill tester in perth! how crap is perth???



so after that, we took a long drive back to melbourne city, and we were kinda knackered but we still explored around a bit.

there was a pixar exhibition on at the time, celebrating 20 years of animation or something, and other kinda festive performances here and there. we went to these markets that were kinda smallish and under a bridge! cant remember what they were called! and i got an owl bag and door stopper! as well as a bag for my sis and a door stopper for my mum! it was cute and the chick designed and made them herself! kinda expensive, but there wasnt really anything there to buy that i liked that was original and all.... yeah, lotsa arty things here and there, and then we headed to box hill! hoping to have dinner there we ended up going to richmond, another viet community kinda place and at a viet restaurant but chinese style food with rice...

weather was obviously crap, but it didnt rain on us, so its good... its just crap coz most of the shots of the city are so grey and dull... OH wells! i guess thats why they need the arty farty colourful things to make it look spesh!
