HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!! :)
Welcome 2007, farewell to 2006...

Holy smoly... yes i havent blogged in quite a while... soz about that to you guys who visit this site on a frequent basis... i visit yours (if u have one) allllll the time!!! well, i havent had much "me" time to "waste" infront of the computer.... also, im kinda errr abt my comp... as in, im kinda in the need to update it... takes a while to load up, and load other various programs....

*sigh*

OH, merry late-christmas to all!!!

since i havent blogged in a while, hope that everyone's chrissy was good. i just remember mine with heaps of food, freakin' hot outside, and well, playing games on the wii!!! heehee...

since the week in between chrissy and new years, is my only off time... the last few trickles of holiday before i start my new job... argh.... what have we been up to....
well, went bowling with my sisters, sis bf and ed. boy, i SUCK, very inconsistent but ok. ed got 4 strikes in a row... cant believe that!!! i think i may have jinx him after that when he didnt get the 5th one... mainly coz i was kidding and said stop getting strikes!!! (i wanted to some how impossibly catch up in my score... but alas, that was not meant to be as i am lousy at bowling!)

umm.... went to cotteloe beach!!! was sooooo nice.... went for a dip.... crazy, salt sting my eyes and face! wah, im so sensitive, but nothing to dramatic... then had a picnic on the grass for dinner, nicce..... had some chicken wing dings, bought some salad from charcoal chicken (IT IS LIKE THE BEST!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SALAD) and also bread rolls cut and buttered.... delish..... with a side of strawberry flavoured lemon and lime gatorade.... it was nice especially after a swim! we left before sunset, i think i would've freezed my butt off....

ooohhh, chrissy evening, went to floreat beach to join es, nam and gav's friends for a barbie, well, kinda. we were kinda late, but we did bring some marinaded chicken wing bits, and doritos.... ended the evening kicking a small footy, soccer ball and flinging around this weird ccross boomarang thing that was scary when the guys threw it my way! ARRRGHHH! but yeah, was good to catch up with clive and nam and es and gav!

i want to do another get together at the beach, throw around a ball or something.

shopping is CRAZY.... why are people so crazy?
oh, that was the day after boxing day, which i ended up going to the docs to get my results, i DO NOT have helicobacter, else i think i'd be in a worse state, but they cant explain why i was nauseous the other time.... but i have a low iron count in my blood, which is kinda normal, but is recommended that i take iron supplements, since i dont have a liking to red meat... low iron levels are the first stages (nothing too serious) of becoming anemic.... soooo, im taking iron pills now! argh

then, went to the city with bubs for some shopping!!!! now i dont have any expectations for the sales anymore... thats why i dont really "believe" in sales much, mainly coz the things i find are all dodgey or not in my size discounted stuff that i cant be bothered wasting my time on.... thats why i just prefer buying what i need when i need it, no fuss to look around for sizes. i did how ever find some t-shirts for work, casual stuff.... i dont think i really bought anything fantastic at the sales... bubs did get a new suit, a kenzo one! good stuff, i think abt 30% off? well, suits aint cheap, and i thought the one he got was very suiting...

have done some bike riding also, we went at night, since i didnt like the idea of the day, as i tan way too easily and i dun want to sweat and get burnt! so the aeroguard was sprayed on and off we went! we didnt really know where we were going, all i know is that i wanted to ride a little further than normal and somewhere new. we ended up going from cranford ave, to leach, along the river bit, so from mt pleasant to rossmoyne, then we some how went along there, this was absolutely new biking territory for us, across some other bridge, i think shelly bridge or something, then on centenary ave, heading towards curtin uni, then, onto manning, from there down manning heading towards the freeway, then some how turned left to streets paralell to the freeway south, and go onto the bike track again and back on familiar path back home! it was kinda a triangular/circular track that we went on! was about 17-18km all up and about 1hour and 15mins or so... it was goooooooooooooooooooooood stuff, but scary, only because we hadnt been that way before and it was like, oh maaan, should we turn back? and this was early in our ride, then it was naaaah, just keep going, too far now to turn back! LOL...and it was dark and i was scared that there wouldnt be a path and that we might have ended up on the road!!!!! but it was ok, there wasnt much traffic on the paths (as in other bikers) so it was ok. :)

something that sucks in the last month though, just not enough time to spend with my friends :( i wish i could just make that little bit more time to spend with everyone and catch up, but everyone is just busy or away, and just as life is, you just somehow find that time is going way toooo fast..... aiiii......

2006 was a wacky year....

i cant believe i have finito uni.... crazy.... they havent sent the graduation details yet, SHIZER, which is slowly bugging me, coz its meant to be in feb :/
yes, finito uni. i never thought i would finish really, not that it wasnt possible, more like i would totally kick my own ASS if i had failed in my last sem, which of course, didnt happen, coz i had that much confidence in myself to KNOW that i wouldnt flop the final flop! so all is well, just the realization is kinda.... weird....

starting my new job.
my new job is starting tomoro... can u believe that? its a bit crazy... im bit sad because my holiday is over, and sad that i wont be doing my work i was doing before... but in a way, im happy because its new and well, i wont be stuck at home bumming and relaxing, and i'll be making use of my time and earning a living!!! but i just hope that i wont be bored out of my brains!!!! but i kinda expect it for the first few weeks, mainly because u have to go thru all that corporal induction, also OSH stuff, and tours and trainings..... i hope that everything goes well. i kinda dont really know where to go for my first day... i just have a rough idea where to go... i walked to the building at work, but driving to the carpark where i will be stationed for the first week, just a slight idea!!! hopefully it will be enough to get me there!!

OH, something that has been interesting to me on the holz, is walking bubs dog, lucky! coz his fam are on holiday in m'sia, so lucky has been looked after by the neighbours, and about once a week from us. he's a jack russell, and he's chubbers too! he's kinda old, i think over 10 human years, and he cant really use his front teeth the eat! its funny, coz he likes carrots, and we always bring a carrot for a treat for him! anyway, u feed him the carrot and he has to chew it with his back molars! its cute and funny coz he has to toss his head back with the carrot bit and chew chew chew! heehee.... he doesnt really pay much attention to me, coz he's too excited to see bubs... it is his dog in the first place ;p he's molting too! hehehe, hot weather and all.... funny chubbers.... i call him chubbers now~ ! LOL....

new years eve was low key, i dont think we ever planned on doing anything that required energy!!! LOL :p just chilling and watching tv shows... but close to 11:30ish, we did take a drive into the city near gloster park to see the fireworks! but as we went closer in the city towards gloster park, there were also other cars too!!! fireworks had already started, i think it was like 15 or so minutes before midnight, anyway, we had a nice view, even though we were jam packed with other cars infront and behind!!! just in time, with the radio on and the count down! what a way to spend new years! hehehe, well, it was good for me, coz we went straight home and snoooze.... actually, we ended up watching ali G! haahaa, it was funny..... but yeah, like i said, low key, but i liked it!

oh cindy! was looking at ur blog! heeeheee, luv the pics! u are looking HHHOOoooot!!!! luv the dress!!!! heehee.... good stuff!

WHICH reminds me, the night we went to the casino!
that was totally last minute! which, no one ended up joining us, hehehee, but that didnt bother us! it was MAJORLY packed!!! apparently coz of the hopman cup and the movies by burswood, but i dont really reckon it was.... it was a satnite, people wanna go and gamble! LOL.... it was madness in the carpark, SERIOUSLY.... coz they were all full or blocked off! after being in the car for a bit, i was like, its ok, we can go home if u want (to bubs) and he was like, nah, since we're here already... we did consider paying, BUT we turned off to see our luck. OMG, we went to the GRASSY bit far far far away, possibly the FURTHEREST i've EVER parked to go to the cas!!! good thing i was wearing flats or else u'd be carrying me all the way bubs! anyway, there were other people who were also insane enough to walk to way like us... and in we went! lotsa people, but i wouldnt say as many as the most i've seen, but busy enough to say it was hard to get a seat at the electronic money wheel!!! heehee, all i wanted was to gamble and have a bit of fun!!! (yes, i realise its not that buddhist to gamble, but it was more on the fun side i suppose) so after my patience ran out after we walked around watching other people around losing all their money on various games, we went to observe near the electronic big small game!

this was same game i played last time with bubs.... waiting, waiting for someone to GET OFF THEIR BUTT AND LEAVE ALREADY!!! lol.... bubs had a sharp eye and saw some lady hogging a seat and leaning over to help her partner.... tap tap.... are u playing? nope, MOVE OVER! yaaay! we have a seat.... how much? $20 went in....my beats started at 50c.... yes... small, but i dont like to take too many chances... minimum to spend? $2.50. avg amount per game, $3.50-4. we both took turns to pick the odds... we got to $30, i thought, we should go after that! but then bubs was like, naah, lets try to $40. we made it and cashed out! WHoop Whooop! it was fun!

apparently 2006 was the driest year on record since 1940something, i read somewhere... i think i read in the paper.... eeep... scary stuff...
weather at the mo outside, tis cloudy, was slightly sprinkley but not enough to dampen the soil! EEPS.....

anyway... thats my blog for now... soz again for not blogging, prob will get back into it! just been having fun in the meantime.... hope tomoro will be ok *gulp* wish me luck!
