can u believe its october?

coz i sure cant... or at least it hasnt settled in just yet :S eeeeps!

that long weekend... was pretty long! and i had to go to uni yesterday, becoz i had a mid-semester exam! Waaaa.....

anyway, everyone looked like they pretty much watched the footy on saturday! woop woop!!! i had a feeling... so on friday, ed and i went to the tab! guess what i forgot? >_< my wallet... argh... what a poo.... but anyway... they won! so ed got some cha-ching! holy moly, it was a good game!!! omg, the last few minutes.... it was a killer!!! i was like TOOOOT!!! TOOOOOT! WHERE IS THE SIREN!? YAAAAAAY!!! game over, eagles win! woop woop! we went to the tab after that, and there were crazy fans in the car park, honking their horns! nuts!


anyway... moving to sunday!
we went to the royal show! WOOP WOOP

omg.... the parking.... the cars.... the mass of peeeopplee... luckily for us, after going a round, we ended up parking at a place we passed by first when we turned to claremont! it was in the car park near bunnings... and luckily for us, it was a sunday, and we dont have to pay and it wasnt limited to 2 hrs or so...

anyway, walk walk walk walk, and it really is abt the animals...

we went to the doggie pavillion first... haahaa, some dogs are funni and huge...

but no pics... omg, there were SO many people, it was like crowded like crazy, and this was the first thing we went to see!!!

the next thing was the birds... aka, chickens and ducks!



heehee.. they are cool... im a sucker for birds... or at least most!

i just think they are BIG BIG, or u can get big chickens, small chickens, and chickens in between! lol...

there was a mama duck with baby duckies



they were soooo cute... but couldnt really see them, coz they were underneath the mama duck and the mama duck didnt move.... doh...

then... there was this chicken! haahaa

here was a mama chicken and baby chickies... but you cant really see them coz they were also hiding underneath the mama chicken....



u can kind of see one of the baby chickies.... to the right of the mama chicken...

there were pigeons in the same pavillion...



they just kept reminding me of this pigeon that i dissected like 1-2 yrs ago... eeewww..... but these ones looked soooo odd! the one on the left had those weird feathers that totally cover its head... and the one on the right, behind, had a blown up crop, like, it looked like a massive tumor, or balloon.

OMG... i want a baby pig!!! they are soooo soooo cute!!!! mama pig was holy palony... she was one big mama! LOL... lets just say, it was alot pork in that porker!

omg... there were these sheep, or... errr.. goat kinda sheep..... and their.... their testicles.... ok, i gotta be technical here... if i say balls, it just sounds rude, but yeah, their testicles... were... big and dangling... like they dangled pretty.... pretty looong.... any longer, and i reckon they'd probably kick themselves in the balls!!! lol

omg, when ed took this pic, no more than a moment later, the cow JUST behind (the one behind ME not the main cow) KICKED the sand on ME!!! well, it wasnt sand.. it was some kinda saw dust stuff.... i was like AARRHHH! i was fine, im not afraid of the dirt... but it was a bit sudden out of no where... i think the cows were a bit irritated at seeing so many people... OH MY GOSH!!! WE SAW the moo moo poo poo!!! you know whats even grosser? WE SAW IT PISSING!!! AS IN PEE PEE!!!!! it came out like a fountain! like, i dont know how long it was peeing for, coz it was still peeing when we walked away!!! EEWWW.....

show food # 2 MUSHrooms!

these dont really count... coz we were walking in the woolies pavillion, where u get that yellow brick road thing... i wanted to get one, but then when i saw it, i didnt think it was worth it!!! but yeah... haahaaa, this had to be the cheapest show food u can BUY.... $1 for a "large" mushrooms...
it wasnt large, more like largeR than the sample that was included with the yellow brick road thang... but it was pretty popular... i think they must have made ALOT of money from it.

not like the curly fries u get at hog's breath cafe, bit more.... cheaper to make i suppose... but boy, they were freakin' expensive!!!! we covered it in salt, vinegar, tomato and bbq sauce! holy cow... we must've made it extra extra fattening..... but believe it or not, we scoffed the WHOLE lot... haahaa...

haahaa.... bananas.... choc bananas! they did have it actually, but they were mainly selling strawberries!!! covered in choc, with marshmellows or on their own!

looked ok, but not really my thing...

SHOW BAGS!!!

too bad i didnt go off my rocket if i was a 10 year old kid! lol...

we got a home-made cookies one, heehee, i wanted it, mainly coz i really like melting moments.... mmmm.... biscuit....

and also the warheads showbag!!! lol... had to AT LEAST get a "normal" bag... we WERE thinking abt the fizz wizz bag... but all we wanted were the lollipops.. naaah, changed our minds.... i wanted to hubba bubba one, but i dont think it was worth it...

so many people got so many.... the black angel wings were popular...



on the way out...

yeah... i didnt really take as many photos as i would've wanted... but then i think i just forgot abt it...





we didnt go on any rides.... it was FREAKIN' expensive, and naaah, not really that interessted... im more interested in watching people... people screaming and going crazy! haahaa... the splash down one was funny, i think everyone who went on it, always got wet, esp. the heavier boats.... haaha...

oh gawd, the people in the game stalls were MADD! lol.. they really try their hardest to suck you in.. and DAMn them!!! lol

im watching people walk around and around, and so many stuffed toys...

heehee, ed tried the basketball ones, just twice, oh gosh, its $5 for only 2 shots! what a quick money maker... unfortunately.... none it... its ok ed... heehee... it was worth it to try, plus the toys werent that great.

OH, they were also selling the toys too! like the same ones u can win! crazy...

what else have i missed.... coz i know i havent mentioned everything coz i took limited pics...

OH we went to the dairy pavillion!!! haahaa, worth it... kinda.... FREE samples!!! i had two milk samples, one mocha, also theres a new yogo, some weird lime one, omg, too weird for me! also, connoisseur icecream! passionfruit vanilla with panacotta or something..... anyway, it was free!!! haahaa... but packet with heaps of ppl as well! craaazy...

we walked for a total of like 5 & 1/2 hours and spent LESS than $100... so that was impressive to me that we didnt spend too much.... i think it was more for the animals.......

heehee...

overall, a great experience!!! havent been since... hmm... i think 2003 or 2004.. cant really remember it, which is pretty bad!!! lol

oh well, this years one was great! :) weather was great too! good for cycling... haahaa
