WAGAMAMA



im a sucker... sucker like many consumers... but then i think, maybe sometimes u have to really try it yourself so that u can tear it down to the ground...

for my bday dinner, esther said that she would take me out which was fine with me, just that i had to pick a place... damn being a damn libra...

so, thought WHY not go to wagamama's? when i was in subi with ed, shopping, we saw it, and thought, yeah we should try it one day... so yeah, we went!

no booking, just stroll in, it was a tuesnite, so wouldnt really be an issue to not fine a table, but it was bz!

food came out quick...

im a sucker because... presentation and location of this place, looks hit and i just the "cool" label can be applied, making u feel good, all abt consumer marketing... damn you marketing... anyhoo... yes, was swanky, service was efficient and yeah, all in all, being a new place, thumbs up.

THE BIG disappointment about it was THE FOOD.

i felt like there wasnt really THAT much choice in the menu, twas pricey, and it didnt even have a decent flavour!!! sorry, but msg does rock... it was way way WAY too bland... even kwok thought that, he and ed had a chilli chicken ramen, and kwok added a BIG dosh of chilli powder, OBVIOUSLY not salty or hot enough, coz he added a freaking mound of it, THREE times.... *sigh*

we all had noodles, i had a wagamama ramen and est had some soba fried noodle thing. kwok wasnt full, so he ordered a chicken curry too, which we all shared... was nice, but not enough saucy, but definiately had flavour...

we did end up going to gelare. HALF PRICE WAFFLES!!!

havent had those in a while....

ed and i shared a big waffle with cream, syrup and a scoop of jamacian choc and honey malt crunch (jamacian choc wasnt that great...weird after taste) and i think es and kwok had cookies and cream and something else....

we were STUFFED!

that was good though... heehee... the waffle...


but yeah, i wouldnt recommend going there, and i wouldnt go there out of choice...

oh cindy, no i dont have any incriminating pics from satnite, lol, it was from my sis's cam i was boro-ing, so i made sure no one took any! LOL...

that is all... must get off INTERNET and dooooo wooorrrrkkk *sigh* :(
