hello all

ok, i will try not to make this blog entry sound too depressing or anything, but be warned, theres gonna be a disturbing pic later one (no, nudity, its just something, well, if u have a weak stomach, look away when i tell u)

i am still sick (surprise surprise)

maybe u did pass me whatever u had chia! LOL even if we havent seen each other :p

chia was sick before, and that lasted over a week right? i dun even know if u're better now, but i bet anything, better than me!

so anyway, i was going to blog on the weekend, but feeling so crap, yeah, naturally i wouldnt...

to recap the whole long-ass story, i caught the flu last week, had the weakness, headaches, the shi-bang, that followed with the runny nose, sore throat and cough...

still have the really really sore throat, stuffed up nose and well.... cough.... coughs are so hard to get rid of...

anyway.... so last week was a disaster week for work, coz i didnt go in on monday, and for the rest of the days, i think it was only tuesday that i really had a normal day, coz i left home early for wed, thurs and fri :p

u know what was the cherry on the cake for my situation?

beside the fact that i didnt improve my condition thru out the week, on friday, rocking up at the nir lab, my day was somewhat "normal" la-di-da...

only difference was, the progression of my day, i started getting alot of sleet in my eye, now everyone gets sleet once in a while, but this was constant, kept getting more and u know when it blurrs your vision? yah, it was feral.

i only really noticed when it got worse when the crap i was pulling out of my eyes, looked like pus! EEWWW... i know...

i was in contact with nat via email at work, and she was always making me, just go home kinda thing, but for me -at the time- i was fine to work, just my eye thing... so anyway, figured as the time went by, lunch time, im leaving, coz it was mainly the flu kicking in.... just felt weak...

and the whole eye situation wasnt improving either.... and nat was going to leave at lunch too, she wasnt sick at all! she recently bought a cute kitten that she had to "tend" to, plus her supervisor wasnt around! lucky gal!

not that mine is! lol

anyway, soooo, before that, i was going to send a little letter to cindy and some movie tickets as a thank you gesture for last year for helping me with my chinese, i really didnt want to forget, especially since its already one quarter into THIS year. and i was always saying i would treat her to gelare, but it never happened :P and we're both busy, never see each other (cindy!!!!!!!!! aiii, dunno when i will see u!)

SO, my "plan" was to do it that day, since her place was convenient to drop by from work.... thing was, coz i wasnt in my office, i didnt have paper or an envelope or anything!

so, nat helped, she found some paper, no envelope, so i improvised and made it into a letter envelope thing!

(sorry cindy, it was sooooo dodgey looking!!!!)

but yeah, i was kinda dazed at the time too, so im not sure if it made any sense what i wrote....

anyway, so did that and left work at the same time with nat.

we had arranged to meet our friend amanda for lunchies, but one, we both had to buy lunch, two, the canteen was serving tuna mornay, which we both weren't too keen on... so we just told amanada that we were leaving, coz i was sick and nat had to go somewhere....

so after dropping the letter at cindy's place (btw cindy, your letter box is funny! i wouldnt have thought it was on that side of your house!)

we headed to nandos in karawara next to curtin uni.... they recently built that AFTER we left uni!!! (pfffft)

nat felt like eating it, and well, i had to eat too!

it was pretty funky, and they had like ALL asians working there, all students i guess, but i suppose good for them, they have an endless supply of employees... hehehee.... anyway

the grilled corn was super nice!

they also had a sink on the outside, well, inside, but outside for all the customers to use! i was impressed! coz i havent seen one of those in australia, i know in some places in singapore they have that... i remember seeing it at a macers....

anyway, so went STRAIGHT to the pharmacy/chemist in karawara, and they gave me some eyedrops (BTW, after talking to nat, we figured i had CONJUNCTIVITIS!)


after that, i had a quick visit to nat's place to see her kitty and her bunny.... then i headed to ed's place...

omg, i felt like crap.... tried the eyedrops and napped... woke up like 2 hrs later, DID NOT HELP!!

i was like AARRRGGGHHHHH.....

that day, bubs ALSO got the same thing, except luckily for him, he only got it in one eye, i had it in both :p

anyway, thats when hell broke lose!

eye wasnt getting better, i knew i had to get antibiotics! thats what nat was telling me, coz she had it before...

so bubs and i went over to my sis's place, since her bf was a doc!

went over for dinner, just picked up some chinese take away and sat infront of the telly eating at her place... i seriously felt like crap, there was crap coming out of my eyes, AND my eyes started swelling! not my eyeballs, my eye LIDS!!!!!

die die die.... so sis was telling me that K (bf) was gonna get back 8:30, so i had to hang out for a while.. which in that state was HELL!

he called at 9 to get picked up! so HOORAY!

after that, bubs and i both got diagnosed, and they headed to the pharmacy to pick up the meds!

i was soooo fortunate that bub's condition wasnt as severe as mine and he had one good eye, so he could drive, he's eye only really went all red... and pus and all... but yeah, i was all down hill!

weird thing was, we didnt see each other on thursday at all, but we both still got the same thing on friday! weird...

so went home, and applied the eyedrops, ointment and off to beddie byes....

that was the WORST night ever, in.... well, i dont think i've ever had such a terrible nights sleep....

i could NOT sleep! i had a tissue box next to me, coz my eyes kept tearing up, just was awake and bubs was with me, and all night, i could hear his breathing, and one point he was snoring (it was kind funny) but coz i didnt sleep, it was HELL!

so, at one point, it was 2 in the morning, i had to get up coz i was in such discomfort... went to the bathroom, OMG, MY EYES WERE ALL SWOLLEN! i was seriously sooo upset, i swear i was crying, but it didnt seem like my tears coz of the whole "condition"..... bubs got up too, just to see how i was...

thats when it hit me, this is FREAKIN' serious shizer....

so, just rinsed my eyes out with the saline and applied the ointment again and off to bed again....

argh. drama....

this time i got maybe 2 hrs sleep or something, still very scary and uncomfortable...

sis and K were telling me they had to go to a wedding that next morning, and to try and contact them abt 8ish...

got up, felt my eyes, omg.... its like a freakin' balloon hay..... argh, rang K, and told him abt it.... said i might have to go to hospital!!! and get a intraveinous thing!!! ARGH! nOOO!

i didnt think it was that serious, mainly coz my eye sight is fine, everything else is fine, except my eyes...

so got up, got dressed and headed to my GP!

lucky for me, my gp are good, even if u walk in, its a pretty decent wait...

i only had to wait abt 10-15mins...

i was so scared coz of the swelling. bubs came in to see the doc too, and he pretty much said that he would've prescribed the same stuff, and that i should recover in a few days.... he did prescribe some pain killers, but i knew i wouldnt need it.

but it did put me at ease to know from a professional point of view that i'd be ok... not that K isnt a pro, but he's not a GP... he's a doc in a hospital, but he's not yet a GP.... but yeah, i was lucky to get the prescribed meds first.

acutally i DID notice a difference that morning, there wasnt anymore pus coming out of my eyes, just more fluid, and it wasnt normal fluid though.. but better than pus!

so that whole thing ruined my plans for the weekend, which was to make curry puffs and spring rolls and do all my house work.... argh

we headed back to bub's place, and we went to garbo first to pick up some food too.... omg, i was wearing my sunnies in the shops! it worked coz u really couldnt see if there was anything wrong with my eyes, but man, i was slightly conscious coz u know when u see people indoors with sunnies? its like, is she trying to show off? or i'd be like, where's the sun hun? well, now it makes me think a different way, maybe there might be a slight chance that they have it on for a reason! like black eye or feral red eyes!!!!

we used sooooo many tissues those pass few days, its not funny! we even bought like 4 boxes to make up for it! LOL, although i doubt we even used that many, probably one full box....

so the swelling eventually went down, BUT, the red eye came... argh, its soooo scary looking, my condition did improve but it looks sooooo scary!!!!

and bubs was like, lets take a photo of it!
and initially i was like NOOO!

but then i thought abt it, and well, why not, just to compare this feral condition kinda thing, and show u guys to appreciate what u already have, your health!

and thats what i'm going to show u, dont worry, if u really dont wanna see it, i'll make sure its a scroll down thing...

i dont mean to ambush u guys, but here is a three shot pic of my eye AFTER when it turned red and feral... its not too red, but its pretty scary the difference...





















































i dunno what u think abt how gross it is, but everyone has their degree of grossness...


anyway, thats how bad it is....

in my other eye i think it was worse!!!

when i have tired eyes, u dont see it as much, but if i open my eyes as big as they can go, or pull my eyelips back, thats where its pretty red!


yeah....

have no idea where i got it from, but yeah, i cant stress enough to u guess the importance of hygiene and dont touch your eyes unless u have washed your hands thoroughly and with soap or antibac wash!

argh.... i really dont want anyone to go thru this hay.... its really bad!

anyway, my eyes arent AS red, and bubs told me this morning that my left eye has improved heaps...

i didnt go to work today, coz i woke up feeling like crap, thats due to the flu of course... argh, i hate the flu....

eyes are dealing fine, better than the pass few days combined....

so im at home and i've napped for more than 4hrs already.... helped alot.... but still quite crook.... throat has been the major focus of pain.... argh

so made myself some soup macaroni, except i used spiral pasta! lol

nice nice.... weather is nice, although i cant really tell if its that warm, they said it was 29, but being in doors....a rgh, doesnt matter too much!

to finish off this HORRIBLE entry, some cute pics of nat's kitty, which she is yet to name! apparently shes 6 weeks old! she's much smaller than what the pics look like, cutest thing EVER!
