ok ok ok, im here im here!!!!
here are my entries..... note: last week, i didnt end up posting coz i was too lazy and tired and well.... all that, sooooo, now im back from seeding, and it means NO MORE TO BE DONE!!! as in im not going away for a while now!!! :D [that is, not unless i get a new job.... ]
im suppose to be doing domestics... so i dont want to be glued to the computer today... although i usually am while blogging, but lucky for me, i have already edited some pics.... or at least the ones from the week before!!!!
so really this is an entry for, not last week, but the week before, when i went off to katanning, i was in wongan the last week!!
So yeah, i hadnt actually realised that i didnt really take many pics while IN katanning, only really the ground, which wasnt very exciting, i didnt take a pic of the motel, i was kinda over it... it was ok, standard, not the best, but they had clean beds, good heating and hot showers!!! thats all that really matters when we go off, probably more so the clean part, i just dun like to sleep somewhere that doesnt feel..... cared for?
and i absolutely hate using the kettles that motels have!!! only coz, well, u know the electric kettles they have, well, they have the lime build up on the elements? something like that.... anyway, puts me off totally!!! a goodie that im not a coffee drinker dependent on caffenine!!! hehehee.... i think the only good place i went to was corrigin, i think.... they had reasonably NEW brand of kettle and fridge, but the one at katanning, kinda old.... i only really use the kettle to boil water to clean my cutlery i've taken along with me.... thats it!!!
ANYWAY
get to the pics right???
well, ON the way to katanning, we stopped by Wagin, and i had NO idea where Wagin was, but i knew a girl from Plant Pathology, called Penny, and she's from Wagin!
but little did i know that Wagin has the GIANT RAM!!! like u know how queensland has the big banana and big pineapple, and i dont really know what else everywhere else has what, but i think u get my drift, Wagin has the GIANT RAM, which is 9 times the size of a real ram and weighs 4 tonnes, and is made from fibre glass back in 1985, good ol' 1985, the ram is the SAME age as me!!!!! haahaa.....

hawa hawa hawa.... its just funny, coz you dont see the sign "GIANT RAM" every day so!
Anyway, around the areas i've been, kinda not really that southwest, more southish east, where they dont really get AS much rainfall as compared if u went to margaret river or augusta region, its more..... sheeeeeep country!!!!
u can see cows around, but definitely not as plentiful of sheepies!!!
sheeps are more.... hardy? that may be the word.... cattle are fussy eaters (apparently) and well, sheep, they eat what they get, weeds, anything green, hay, stubble, leftovers in the paddock....
and being winter time, not that i've ever really noticed in the past OR been around the country at winter time, is the time for.....
LAMMIES!!!
yes... lambs.... they are sooooo freakin' adorable.... im such a sucker for baby animals..... hahaha...
yeah, lotsa lammies, its like they are born in winter coz there is plenty of food around for them, and well, they do survive, but if its a real cold snap, and the mama sheep rejects little lammie, no hope! but generally, they survive! tough buggars they are....
sorry, no lammie shots, i couldnt get close enough to get lammies, coz they run when u get close to them...
anyway, the research station in katanning, they are crops and sheepies.... and one day when we were there, they were tagging the sheeps, like i think they are electronically encoded and what i learnt was they were A.I.!!!! ARTIFICIALLY INSEMINATED!!! yes..... interesting.... hehehehe.... so i think they were tagging the ones into "categories" to see what stage they are or something something, im not 100% sure on.... but anyway, it was cool! i think there were abt 600 of them, and well, they went on this conveyor belt thing and yeah, it was interesting....
BAAAAABAAAAAA

so yes.....
back to katanning....
this was one of many paddocks we were in...

honestly?
it was a pretty shitty paddock, well, compared to ones we've seen before, just the quality of the soil, like im sure it was good enough to grow stuff, but i mean, when we were there, it was still pretty dry and it just shocking... but i suppose we were lucky it wasnt toooo dry, like there werent any dust storms.... so yeah! it was pretty much gravel, which i thought was shitty....

yeah.... not too interestingo.... hehehe....
but yeah, it was ok.....
cutting this entry short, on the way back, we went to williams, and stopped to see how that was going, so it was about 2.5weeks since we had seeded it.... it was NIIICEE.... and it was raining a bit when we were returning..... but u can see the lines of the seedies....or planties....

see how nice williams is?

definitely a nice nice time....
but yes.... there is kinda more... but that will have to be posted later!!!
im going to make some lunch for myself!!!
ta ta :)
